As of July 2022, 28 states extending from California to New Hampshire have been under “excessive heat warnings and heat advisories,” according to the National Weather Service. I knew this even without watching the news. If you looked at either my front lawn or my hair, you saw just how much the lack of moisture was impacting us both as they look similar — dry and tired.

Overall, it’s hot, and we’re in the home stretch of summer. These next few weeks are typically the hardest as the kids are home from camp and school, so I’m juggling trying to entertain them and working simultaneously. We’re also gearing up for back to school and, in my case, scheduling some social activities in September. Time to shop for new school clothes, and maybe some items for yourself too, as lord knows my hair, skin, and soul need some extra TLC.

This month’s round-up shares everything from comfy clothes to new kicks for the kids to beautify products to food.

But first… my disclaimer: Some of these products were sent to me to try out. Others, I ordered solely on my own and loved them. No one has paid me to include any of these products in this piece, and I don’t work for or make a profit off of any of these companies. Nevertheless, one consumer said to another, saying, “Hey there! These products don’t suck! Check them out!”
