Cristina and Lauren share their family building journey with Barbados Fertility Centre

Barbados Fertility Centre (BFC) is committed to being a progressive and supportive and innovative fertility clinic when it comes to providing every patient the best possible chance of having a healthy pregnancy and child regardless of their marital status, gender, or sexual orientation. They have long been treating single and same-sex couples wanting to start a family and they take great pride in the years they have helped many achieve their dreams of becoming a parent.

Recently, one couple in particular that stood out to the BFC team named Cristina and Lauren. BFC was so grateful to have them travel to their clinic, working with them, and getting the honor of helping support them build their family. At present, Cristina is currently expecting a baby boy thanks to her treatment at BFC and I asked if she would mind sharing her experience with me.

How did you and Lauren meet?

We met online just before I was moving out to California for my first professional job in 2008. Lauren was working in Las Vegas at the time and I was stopping over on my drive from Colorado to California. We spent an evening together in Las Vegas and have been together ever since.
